Abstract
Person-centred Coaching. The following article shows that the Person-centred Approach provides a reliable theoretical model with regard to personality theory, theory of personal development as well as of process and relationship: not only for psychotherapy, but also for coaching processes. In the following article coaching will be analysed as a special mode of the helping relationship described by Carl R. Rogers. Similarities and differences of coaching and psychotherapy are presented. By means of Rogers’ process scale the characteristics of coaching are highlighted and the differences with regard to psychotherapy are outlined.
