Abstract

Person-centered therapy of persons with a borderline personality disorder. A case presentation from a psychiatric outpatient clinic. The author describes the process of one therapy session in a person-centered therapy with a client diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder. The disorder specific therapy process and the offered therapeutic relationship are demonstrated in the case history. The author’s concrete interventions are discussed in regard of the realization of an optimized relationship and the outcome of the therapy.
