Abstract
The river of grief and the iceberg of trauma. This article clarifies the similarities and differences between experiencing a bereavement process and undergoing psychotraumatization. Its structure is the „kaleidoscope of mourning,“ an integrative model of grieving theories developed by the author. „Trauma-sensitive mourning therapy“ and „mourning-sensitive trauma therapy,“ along with their intertwinements, will be presented against this background.
